​3-5 Year Olds

All of the children at The Greenhouse Preschool participate in a self-paced, mixed age group.  There are numerous opportunities each day to participate in hands-on learning.  We work both formally and informally each day on math, language, practical life skills, social skills, sensory motor skills, and cultural skills.  This is achieved in whole group and/or small groups.  We also take time each day during our outside play time to visit our garden.  The children may prepare the beds for new planting, water, weed, and harvest.  They also have the opportunity to collect the eggs from the chickens each day as well.  I have found that through this teaching approach the children are more well-rounded.  It allows them to develop and learn in a natural environment as opposed to a traditional classroom.

Tuition and Fees

Waiting List Fee

  • $50 (non-refundable)

  • This must be paid prior to your child being placed on the waiting list.

 

Yearly Materials and Enrollment Fee

$200 (due at the time of enrollment)

 

Tuition (M-F)

  • $7680/year 

    • Conveniently broken down into 12 monthly payments of $640/month (due on the 1st of each month beginning June 1 each year)

Calendar

  • We follow the Flour Bluff ISD school calendar and are open on school days from 7:15-4:30.

  • Teacher inservice and training days will be spread out throughout the school year

  • Holidays (may vary from year to year depending on the school districts calendar)

    • Christmas Break

    • Spring Break

    • Good Friday

    • Memorial Day

    • Summer Break
